    Vector3 is primarily for calculating stuff.

    Vector3 is an object that represents 3 numbers (usually coordinates x,y,z) with some convenient functions to do math things with it like distance from another Vector3, etc. You can just treat it as an array of three numbers with different syntax.

    As @PEMapModder said, it refer to coordinates: The position of blocks, entities, biomes, chunks, etc...
