What will happen when the new update of Minecraft comes out (0.10.0?) im just wandering if it would happen easily enough.
MCPE and Pocketmine was rebuilt from scratch if i remember so it won't need to be done again so no more waiting so long for an update when shogs finishes it.
nothing big should happens since they didnt add any new things except for boats and other things but i think they can just change the protocal to 0.10.0 so we won't have to wait too long.
@shoghicp released lots of dev builds today that should work with the 0.10.0 beta builds. Sadly, boats weren't added. I'm not sure how much the protocol changed, or if it did at all, but the update was mostly client side improvements. They did add fence and fence gates for all wood types, and shoghi already released dev builds today adding that, so it shouldn't be as stressful of an update as 0.9.0 was!
What was added did you make redstone acturally useful by being able to place it and all redstone items
Well the PocketMine staff have no control over what's added to MCPE updates. But the 0.10.0 changelog is very small. You can find it at http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Pocket_Edition_upcoming_features
Well it can't be hard to just change the image of someone i guess, but we're thinking too far ahead of ourselfs.
@shoghicp made a plugin to support 0.10, and it works pretty well. CPU usage is much worse when 0.10 players join via the plugin though, and 0.10 players have to join on a different port than 0.9 players. I'm considering forking Pocketmine (again?!) and adding support for 0.9 and 0.10 protocols in the native code. Such a thing shouldn't be too difficult, it doesn't look like they changed much between versions protocol-wise. But I'll at least wait for a few more beta versions first before attempting such a thing.
