So we all know that PocketMine 1.4 isn't finished, and there's still lots of things PocketMine needs to add to be completed. For example, mob AI, better world generation, minecarts, and explosions (*cough @shoghicp cough*). While we know all that, that's not why I am making this thread. There's also some items and blocks that haven't been fully implemented yet, and I don't think there's a list of this anywhere, and going through a few hundred commits and checking every PM file will take a lot of time. I'd like to have some type of list of blocks/items that still need to be added, because adding things like blocks and items seem much easier to do than adding some of the more complicated stuff, such as mob AIs, fixing bugs, etc, and there are probably lots of us who can help with that, and having some list of what blocks/items need to be added seems like a good place to start. (Note: If I'm wrong about this and most/all of these blocks/items have been added in the last few weeks that I've been busy, then I apologize and I will delete this thread.)
Well... I'm also waiting for a way to add a new World Generator and start messing up with the code xD
I been waiting for LevelDB 0.9.0 world map support for 3 months. I have a spawn world map waiting in my Droxbox account.
I know it would be hard and not in 1.4 but i would love to see it where you could connect with 4g/3g, and yes im fully aware tht also the client side has to be changed as well
If you have Android, you can download the app BlockLauncher, which allows you to connect via a wireless network, as well as allowing you to install ModScripts. If you buy the full version, you can even install texture packs, if you're interested in that. If not, you're kinda stuck with BlockLauncher's default texture pack.
I would also really like to see db world format as its a pain with the world's and most PC ported Maps doesn't even work. I tried to port the end and nether (removed quartz ore and these ender crystals) but they always crash when I enter Pocketmine / the world :/
I think that bows and arrow damage should be fixed before most of the stuff. Possibly MobAI should be fixed first but bows are a close second.
First a working game, THEN the plugin API. Seriously, looking through the changelog, if all the API work would have instead gone into the actual game, it feels like we could have had mobs and working machines etc. already.
It is going to be 5 months now... Luckily I found a 0.8.1 version of the map. So I ported it. Works perfectly!
