Hi PocketMine community! A few things have happened on the background since the last announcement, so I though that having a status update for all these news would be great So, starting with the first one! Following the announcement of PocketMine-MP being selected as a Sourceforge Project of the Week, we have been nominated to be project of the month on Sourceforge! You can vote us there, commenting "VOTE: pocketmine". Second one! The 1st PocketMine-MP Plugin Contest ended a few days ago, and we are still selecting the winners of each category. The results will be announced the following week, if everything goes right. We expected more submissions, but you will have another opportunity in a few months And now about the Alpha_1.4 release. I've been really busy coding it, and infinite world support is done. Just today I got the new Entity system working and being able to play with other players. it is being coded for MCPE 0.9, and won't be release before it. It involves a major rewrite, and all the actual plugins won't work on it. But don't worry! It comes with a better API, easier to use, and can create more powerful plugins. If you want to try the stable features, they are merged on the master branch on Github when done. Other branches are in development, and might (and will) break lots of things if you don't know how to use them. Also, later this week the PocketMine-MP for Android was taken down by a fake developer on Google Play that copied our app. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. And to finish, I'll drop the note that Mojang left on its blog about Realms being closed from the 1st of March, but it will be opened later this year. if you run a PocketMine-MP server, these are good news for you since more players will join them - Shoghi Cervantes
I suggest you leave 1.4 in dev until a week after MCPE 0.9 is released. That will give us plugin developers a little time to prepare our plugins.
Well I'm glad that there will be another contest soon Now my only question is whether I should just release my plugin I was working on whenever it's finished or release another one...decisions, decisions
They're Android exclusive (of course you already know that xD) and the list to get in beta testing... is bigger than you imagine, or not @shoghicp?
I have a Kindle Fire first generation that is Android based and installs APK files, but there is no way to get the Google Play store on it due to the fact that my Kindle is based on Android 2.3 and the Play store requires 4.0 or higher.
I think that you should take a look at this: http://www.cyanogenmod.org/ http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=otter&type=stable
