    PHP:
    //use
    foreach($this->getServer()->getOnlinePlayers() as $p){

    $p->sendTip("test");
    }
    //instead
    $this->getServer()->broadcastTip("test");

    It does NOT cut data transmission. It is impossible to cut data transmission - once socket is closed, MCPE will show a disconnect screen.

    Actually it's a client side issue, so it can't be fixed by any server software. I assume they used a method similar to that on LegionPE?

    No, it isn't, and some rumours (not proved or disproved yet) say that it is going to get completely removed in 0.13

    Because vanilla MCPE doesn't use it at all?

    Oh dear - I knew it wasn't an officially supported client feature but I was feeling optimistic that 0.13 was going to have it properly implemented and I could finally feel safe splitting my worlds into separate instances.
    Does anybody use Rubberband? I checked it out briefly but it looked like a dead project. Probably would be the best solution if you have some servers with high speed private networking between them and the public traffic going in and out of one main interface is not an issue?
