    What IDE do you suggest for creating PocketMine plugins? I am currently using Notepad++ for web development and such but I know there has to be something better out there. Your input would be greatly appreciated :)

    @Falk I have a Windows machine so anything OSX related I can't use :p

    I have heard of Aptana, but if there is anyone using it please tell me how good it is.

    Personally, I like Aptana Studio, but if you are a student you can use Visual Studio Professional for free. Visual Studio is not that great for PHP, but it is good for other things

    This is my personal preference, but I find Jetbrain PHPStorm to be the best IDE for PHP. The IDEA IDE's context-based auto complete comes in handy all the time, with amazing visuals and fast / lightweight performance.

    I use Eclipse PHP plugin. Although it isn't as good as Java on Eclipse itself, it is useful for beginners to learn the syntax like callable and foreach and etc.
