I can assure you it works.
A quick low quality video to show you what I did
I bought a Linux VPS and now it works perfectly! thank you
Soooo this does automatic run the server if i let my pc on?
Yes! Just make sure you setup correctly and not to close the command window and it should run until php encounters an error (Rare-ish)
It showed up 152 windows and crashed my pc
You probably didn't rename start.cmd -> start.bat
IF it can't find start.bat , it will retry over and over as that's the function of it. To automatically reload the server. The loop pauses when the server is running, and continues when it's not as to start the server again.
It worked for me when I tried it there, now there is already reports of that issue so I'll look into it, sorry for the inconvenience. But for one, it is in the same folder as your pocketmine folder, everything is named correctly?
Yes i checked everything
By The Way iam running XP Proffesional
I wrote it with newish windows syntax, so that could be a problem.
Iam getting a new pc soon!
I don't think windows xp supports the way I refer to files and the loop. And Windows XP is a hackers target now, you really should jump ship and get that pc.
Edit Iam getting it on 24 june
by the way iam going to eat so see you soon!
This still working for you?
I use the first version and not the one with the backup manager because I already have a cron job setup for that. It even works on 1.4 servers!
@iamadpond Would it be possible to run the "wget -q -O - http://get.pocketmine.net/ | bash -s - -v development" command before the script counts down and restarts? I know that is dangerous but it is what I would like to add.
That is actually a very good idea, makes it very useful... now that there are over 500 dev releases
