AreaBuilder command is not allowed for console because command use user's world infomation for select whiteworld for add builder.

if you wants 'areabuilder <worldname> <user name>', i can make it does.

file format is not own, it's result of serialize function.
In addition, don't try to edit bin file directly.
but wants to edit this file, please restart server after edit, make sure make backup for bin.

We are trying to figure out how to allow the console to add players to the whitelist. The default world name for the command is "world".

Is possible to allow all users in a protected area to open and remove items from chest, and also allow all users to eat the cake if it is laid out in a protected area. ?

currently, no - but i'm looking into adding a way to toggle allow/deny player.block.touch (i think that's it) within your area, just like how you can add and remove allowed builders.

i'm still working on that, sorry - my weekends are pretty busy these days, most of my tinkering takes place during the week.

    don't worry - i'll make it work eventually - i won't abandon this project.

not sure what you mean... but if you've enabled whiteworld, you'll have to use the /areabuilder command.

see the documentation for more info on parameters and such.

you must stand within the protected area, and use /areadel <username>

when this command is run by non-ops they can only delete their own area

chances are, you're not within the protected area that you're trying to delete.

try standing within the area, and digging out the block right below you.

it'll be removed for a moment and then reappear, but then you'll actually be standing inside that block.

then run the /areadel <username> command.

i think it might not be detecting it because the area is only 1 block high - though i haven't tested it extensively, i've used this method on my own server and it has worked.

    whew!

    i'm glad i could help...

honestly if that didn't work, the next option would have been to manually edit that area.bin file, which is a bit of a touchy format, and i wouldn't want to have that as the only other option.. so i'll look into implementing other methods in the future.

since i've just taken over this project from blue electric (and i'm a PHP NOOB) i'm still not 100% on how everything works, but since i am using it myself, i have run into these and other scenarios...

    happy hosting!

    cheers, -u.

Hmm, does it set a limit to the size of a protected area, and if your protect multiple times does it overwrite the last area?
