A new PocketMine-MP Beta Build has been released! Alpha_1.4dev-449 beta4, for Minecraft: PE v0.9.5 alpha Will plugins break? This beta changes the API version to 1.3.0 (backwards-compatible) improving level chunk sending and adding new plugin events for developers. Plugins developed in a responsible way following the API are fully compatible. Should I use this Beta Build? There are three types of builds: stable, beta and development. A beta build is meant for test servers, and plugin developers that want a more stable environment. If you are running a production server, it's recommended to stay away from these builds. If you really want to use it, please test on a separate server before doing the changes on the server. Where can I submit bugs? Please do not submit features not implemented. They will implemented in future beta builds, and doesn't help the developers. If there is a true bug you found, please submit it on the Bug Tracker. Please search in it for duplicated bugs. Do not request help or plugin support there. Provide as much information as you can, and keep titles short and informative. Notable changes This build improves the server gameplay lag, weird player movements and certain bugs while crafting tools or using hotbar items. It also changes the way chunks are loaded, instead of a square, it uses a circular algorithm as Johan commented. This decreases chunks loaded by the server and chunks that are sent, improving the overall experience. This. I can't actually put up my server map until this is added. My server will be offline until then He's working a lot more on this than I first imagined.... If you look at the Jenkins Pocketmine link then you will see he's actually putting out a new build every day. I wouldn't have known he was working this much if I didn't see that link.
No one knows till the devs will finish there has been alot of bugs. Im giving a strong guess that pocketmine will be stable around september or ending august.
Don't hold your breath on it. Remember there's only one single human working directly on PocketMine, and that's Shog. There is literally nobody else working directly on the project besides a small team that works on bugs, plugins, etc. This is why it takes time for a stable version. Actually, I don't think we've ever had a fully stable version before. The good news though is that Shog is working his a** off. I see a new dev build being released every single day, and I mean that literally.
Shoghicp is the only dev if you browse deeper and learn alot about pocketmine you would know that PmmP is being dev by alot of the staff including intrye michael shoghicp and some call brandon.
@loginphp, thats 100% true. Shog, if you read this I want to know that I have much respect for you and your work! I'm a developer student (17) too and I know how many time it takes to build something like this... People who keep complain about all the things that not work or have bugs should be banned forever, what they don't know is that a guy is working here many hours a day to help them, free. Yes, everyday I see more developement builds at the homepage, as I said before: Respect for you Shog! Keep continue this great work please! Regards, Jordi1206 Hopefully you will find a solution so my iPhone 5s don't keep crashing all the time when playing a few seconds, but I am waiting with all peace! Wonderful!! Now my android MCPE v0.9.5 connects! Also is it just me or does it look like one could use a PC generated world? ie, create a world under PC then C/P the folder to the Pocket world folder......
