HOW TO ADD BINARIES TO WINDOWS Basically, https://forums.pocketmine.net/threads/pocketmine-1-6-php7-installer-windows.15493/ Thats how simple it can get. ( Warning: It includes Reading - You know, that thing you do with your eyes and brain )
You can't install PHP 7 binaries on Android... yet. This is the problem I'm having, you need to search long and hard for a PHP5 PocketMine-MP PHAR running the latest API. I've been searching for a while but found nothing, and as I know nothing about PHP I have to rely on other people. PHP7 has only been a disaster for me, and probably many other Android users.
Then it's just your problem. It's inappropriate to run a server on Android anyway. The machines that run Android would be too poor for a server. PHP 7 is an update, not a destroyer.
It's not 'inappropriate' to run a server on Android, it's just impractical, and, please don't post useless information on a thread that people are trying to receive genuine help on. Even if it is just my problem, that is what forums are for, to receive help for a specific problem. Not to be told that I can't, or shouldn't do something. If you don't have anything worth posting that will help, please just don't post at all.
Alright, sorry wrong wording. The point I was trying to make was that it is really advisable to use a better machine than a machine running on Android, which is usually of poorer hardware. I said that because you are blaming PHP 7 as a disaster, but it seems that I misread you.
Still off-topic. I am looking for a PHP5 PocketMine-MP PHAR that runs the latest API... Not to be advised on what machine I should run my server on.
And the point I was trying to make is, PHP 7 is an update that boosts performance, so you should really try to use PHP 7 especially on devices with poorer hardware. Anyway, PocketMine has already dropped PHP 5 support. Different parts of its code are already using PHP 7-unique features, so you can't use PHP 5 anymore. Instead, I advise you to be looking for a way to use PHP 7 on Android instead. As for how to use PHP 7 on Android: PocketMine currently doesn't offer an official build, but I found a PHP build from ImagicalMine that can be used from https://github.com/ImagicalMine/IM-Android/blob/master/releases/php 7.0.3/php.zip You can use it to directly execute PocketMine-MP.phar with a terminal emulator.
Well, it is nice to see we finally got down to the point. And, I tried using ImagicalMine before but I couldn't connect to the jenkins server to download a PHAR. Any suggestions?
Once again let's not get off-topic. This thread is discussion about the PHP 7 PocketMine update, after all.
I have to now put everything that I have on android to PC, this is bullshit. Sorry but moving files is hard, especially more than 32 plugins...
You can compress the folder into a ZIP and transfer it easily like that. If you don't know how you can find a tutorial here. Also, it would be appreciated if you didn't use profanity here, thanks. –ItzJavaCraft
