    You don't just have to use amazon because it's a big host. There's many other hosts willing to take your money lmao.

    Digitalocean is a good host. For $5/month you can run a stable, 24 slot server, and if you sign up with a referral code you get the first two months for free. You still have to do all setup and administration yourself, but you have complete control.
