Hi I recently start to notice a drop in every thing related with pocketmine. No new plugins since some months ago, shogi starting to work in Mojang, problems with maps in 0.15.x, etc. Is time to jump to another server core ? Is time to let go pocketmine and use only realms or big servers like Lifeboat and let go the dream of hosting a own server?
@Gatucraft We're currently in the works of hiring a new development team and retaking control of the forums and homepage. New release versions will be posted here onto the forums for the time being in big download buttons on the front page for all to see. Plugin reviewers are currently as well being hired.
It think it would be nice if instead of making 924727471737 PM's forks, developer starts to make pull request to the original project. (Sorry for my english)
I disagree, im involved in minecraft servers since several months, and with PC version (Spigot) i have tons and tons of content, plugins and stability. But with pocketmine i found myself with all the opposite. i see a really slepping community, with tons of abandoned github proyects and plugins, and so few people with continuity. I see only 3 new approved plugins since february in Pocketmine forums and a few updated (and many abandoned)
SpigotMC let's plugin developer upload the plugin and it instantly get acceted there isn't no need for a plugin reviewer ect). But plugins are removed if they are found to be a copy of something else. I think that'shoow PocketMine should do. Cause hiring more plugin reviewer won't do nothing, As they will always be unactive or has something else to do other then stay on PocketMine all day and review plugin(S).
I see, i dont know how that community works, but i see more plugins and a more active community, pocketmine is sleeping IMO
I agree and while it sleeps others grow unfortunately, que is where it all started this could not happen a stronger work is needed is active.
I not agree when he said that does not help the reviewers, why not? If you choose the right people this can work but we have to raise our sincerely speaking community
it would be good to see active pocketmine, but i think it'll never be like before, when shoghicp developed it :/ and there would be a lot of work because pocketmine isn't updated since 0.11 / 0.12
I think the key is to get some new plugin reviewers. I like Spigot's system of taking it down AFTER it's posted instead of before. That way, server owners using Pocketmine could still have the flexibility they want, without having to go to a different software. There was just a post that said that they will be actively going through thread reportings, so why not let people report plugins the same way? You could look at them just as actively as you do chat and then the problem is solved. But still, there could be other difficulties involved with the plugin crisis we don't know about.
Im also sad ! I lost my trust in pocketmine! But still got my respect for being ORIGINAL SERVER SOFTWARE ! But i see that staff hate forks (i see rude comments about forks)! And u wanna devs to make pull requests to pocketmine? In past i saw lots of requests rejected, that was for fixing a critical bug! (sorry for my grammar -_-)
true, POCKETMINE "do" ignore "PULL REQUEST" that's fixing critical bugs or errors.... People gave up, seeing there hard work got rejected.
Finally I can say that the missing developer brandon is back Edit: cant get a photo of my screenshot, but go to a new name thread and look at who has viewed it. Soz for any inconvienience
Hi! Check out app with maps for minecraft pe: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...referrer=utm_source=backlink&utm_medium=forum
First of all, we have a new forum at https://forums.pmmp.io Secondly, wrong section and wrong thread. This has nothing to do with the thread
