    Hi,

I have a question about the use of iProtector. How are the permissions working if a big area which is protected contains smaller areas which should not be protected. Is that feasable with the plugin?
    Example:
You set up a plot of 20x20 which is protected (build disabled), inside this area you wish to put a small place where people can dig (like a mine or so).
Is the smaller area overriding the setting from the bigger one?

I honestly can't remember. It might, but I didn't put too much effort into adding that feature as it would add a fair amount of complexity.

Thanks for the quick answer. I will try it with a test setup a report back if it worked. Could be helpful for others :)

Hi there, so I tried yesterday a little bit messing around with areas on a small test setup.

The smaller areas do not override the flags from the bigger areas containing the small ones.
The only solution I found so far is to whitelist the user which should be able to dig in the smaller area.

or simply create areas which do not overlap :) I changed my build so I have teh desired result. No need to modify anything in the code :)

which commands are you using to protect the area?
try using \area flag [areaname] edit true
    this should enable edit protection.

Edit: Even with enabled protection, OPs still can edit the area

As an OP, I used /area flag [areaname] edit true.
Then I changed my user so I wasn't an OP. I can still edit the area.
I also tried /area flag [areaname] edit false. And I could still edit the area.

    What am I missing?

The person who created the area is automatically added to that area's whitelist. Type /area whitelist <areaname> list and you'll see your username. Either remove yourself from the whitelist or test it with a different username.

    Hello
I'm running my small family server on ClearSky, as it's the only server that my server provider (ServerPro) provide that is on the new 0.14.2.
The problem is my iprotector has stopped I protecting.
I run this through chrome on my Samsung s6 so all PC solutions are obviously out of the question.
I swap back to Genisys like I have been using it works a treat but swap back stops.
I have no choice to use ClearSky as you son and nephews have have update to 0.14.2...

Anyone have any idea what I can do?

    Thank you

    Sorted it out.
Deleted it put it back on
    Works a treat again.

I can confirm iprotector works on ClearSky!
