Hi there - using the area flag edit command does not seem to be working for me and I was hoping someone might be able to suggest why.

    Original post here - https://forums.pocketmine.net/threads/area-flag-edit-command-problem-iprotector.7089/#post-75887

Area edit flag is set to false and the user is definitely not Op - however can still build/destroy within the area. This is the entry within area.json -

    [{"name":"castle","flags":{"edit":false,"god":false,"touch":true},"pos1":[147,6,126],"pos2":[221,127,24],"level":"world","whitelist":["daddy"]}]

I am playing on Android as Op, my son on iOS. The only thing I can think of is perhaps an issue related to versioning?

Server: This server is running PocketMine-MP version 1.4-916 「絶好(Zekkou)ケーキ(Cake)」 (Implementing API version 1.10.0 for Minecraft: PE v0.10.4 alpha protocol version 20)

Any help for a noob would be very much appreciated!

    Cheers :)

You have to enable the edit flag to protect that area. :p

    Hi Gasker,

Took me while to work it out but it is pretty simple.

    1. /area pos1
    2. /area pos2
    3. /area create the_area_name
    4. /area flag edit true*

*I actually can't remember if the correct command is "true" or "enable"..... sry been a while and no time to check.

    5. Make sure you do are not OP on the server. As OP you will still be able to break the blocks. So either remove OP for yourself or log in using a different name.

i just did :-/ nothing worked... all the existing areas was gone and i tryed to add it into the new areas file but it didnt work..

is this update with all the key features that i asked for. Like /area here to locate what area you where inn and stuff.. As i said then i got like 40+ different areas that are protected, some with god mode and some with only edit off.. it would be AWESOME to have more features when it comes to managing existing areas.

    Hey @LDX

Did you add "/area here" to locate what former saved area your currently in? Ask for that a while ago :-/
And im sure it dont work to use "/area flag <name> edit false".. it only works by using "true" and you need to manually go into area file to change it and restart server..
