Here are some general rules for filling plugin requests, some may not be always applicable but try to adhere as best you can when filling a request:

    • Stick your plugin through http://pocketmine.net/pluginReview.php and post the details alongside it. If you are thrown a badParactice or suspiciousPlugin notice you are welcome to post it just make sure to include the warning so the user knows about the issue.
    • In order to provide full support for plugins it would be preferable that they used the standard plugin format. You may use another format though as long as you link to the implementation. You may not use FolderPluginLoader. You may use script plugins.
    • Upload the plugin file and attach it to your post in the original thread. This way the plugin is readily accessible to other users browsing the forum. You can use GitHub or other reliable services (http://transfer.sh) too.
    • If you plan to continue development on GitHub or on another VCS provide a link to the repository. This prevents users from getting outdated downloads.

In order to make compliance with the above easier I have made RequestTool available. This tool allows you to package your plugin, run tests, and host all the data in a gist. You can find more information about this tool on its Github repository. Installation instructions are there as well.

You are also welcome and encouraged to use @PEMapModder's Gist2Plugin tool. It is quick and easy to use. However, it should be noted that it creates script plugins and not plugins for the standard plugin loader.
