A Feature-Packed Factions Management System
Pls add a setting to disable claiming!
With finals week coming up and my server launch soon after, I will not have much time to do more than quick bug-fixes for the next week to two weeks. I'm not going to be uploading any more updates until every bug is fixed, but you can download the latest release from github in the RELEASES section, which will be updated somewhat frequently. In the most recent update you can disable plots server-wide (@matthww) and the prefs now SHOULD work and there should be less crashes. I may find time to add admin features, so you can check the github for that as well (@Devin5411).
TLDR - 1.3.3 will be released after it is bug free, get the most recent update from github.
Ok thank you @Tethered_ and I understand it's almost finals.
hey this maybe a silly question but how do I stop and remove claims at spawn .
How do you display your faction members? I like to list the faction members so I can kick the inactive ones.
Or maybe you can make it so that members who didn't login after a configurable time are automatically deleted/kicked.
What's all the permission nodes, i cant find them...
There is only one, f.command. And it is true by default which means everyone can use it.
Yeah... f.command, I found it too, but maybe can @Tethered_ make it more specific? like f.command.claim for /f claim command and etc. This plugin is almost prefect, just need a little improvements at permission nodes..
Yea that would be useful.
Instead of bugfixing and publishing 1.3.3, I'm skipping straight to 1.4! You can grab the latest BETA build here, and I'll hopefully have it submitted within a week or two. Keep submitting bugs to GitHub so it can be as perfect as possible!
- Permissions for each rank in Prefs.yml (@deot @PixelGuy75 is this method better or worse than actual nodes?)
- Enable/Disable claming serverwide
- Enable/Disable nametags (@Hotshot_9930)
-/f list (@predawnia)
-/f top (show top 3 Factions sorted by total number of kills)
- Disabling plots in certain areas (would you guys rather it be a command you use in-game, or in the config file?)
**Also, those of you whom are running FactionsPro on your servers, is there a noticeable amount of lag?
Support /f c? faction chat
OMG... Thank you!!
Thank you, @Tethered_ is there a possibility that FactionsPro support MySQL in the future?
Thank you!! @Tethered_ Its really great for the beta release, but I prefer permission nodes, not permissions in perfs.yml... Cuz, perfs.yml is for ranks in faction only (Members, Officers) I need permission nodes to customize permission for custom ranks on my server Anyway, you already did a great job Just hope that u can make it into permission nodes
You are really into MySQL, no?
It is useful for multiple servers. So you don't have to create the same faction over and over.
What is the difference between MySQL and SQLite3? Does one have more advantages over the other?
Definetely, with MySQL you can connect to the MySQL server from any minecraft server, thus making data sharing easy.
For example, we could have a network of servers using Fast Transfer all sharing the same FactionsPro database.
Sounds good! I'll try and get 1.4 to use both SQLite and MySQL depending on what you choose in the prefs
That would be very awesome! Just need to share the Factions and Faction member data, no need the plot data as it would be useless if on different servers. Unless of course, you add multiworld support and all we need to do is to make sure each server has different named worlds so it doesn't clash with each other.
