    What connections timeout? Client connections? MySQL connections? Or what?

    If players "logout due to timeout", it is because of server lag for more than 5 (or 10?) seconds, or because your network suddenly changed when disallows external connections.
    If it is a database connection timeout, it is either because the database is down or there have not been queries for several hours (depending on MySQL client/server configurations)
