It's been awhile since anything fun brought the whole community together. And last time there was a "contest", it didn't really work out, because of the horrible timing. Should we ask the PocketMine team if we could have another one?
Not just prizes, but also judges. I think an official would be better, but in case they turn down the idea, an unofficial one is good enough.
I don't see any plugins labeled as "Contest" right now. If it was unofficial, I think it would be a little weird to have people putting their plugins in a thread. If we had @Humerus, he would have access to the unreleased plugins.
Yeah, I still want to hear more people's opinions on this. I still want to know who would be willing to help with it or participate in it.
Prizes? Bragging rights. Why not official? Look at the last one. It was almost two years ago and we still don't have the result announced. Judges? People who are recognized. We all know who can deep inside our mind. The only thing is, there cannot be too many, otherwise there will be no participants. Types? Best idea Most advanced Most optimized Best code structure (OCD myself) Best API Best minigame (probably nobody can make one with good compatibility) Worst plugin (according to tradition)
Let's see if we can get some actual prizes, that way developers will want to compete and we will have less judges.
That sounds pretty good. LMAO worst plugin! I was thinking a forum trophy or a special tag. But those all sound too... digital. We need some physical prizes.
A good prize will also be a fully setup - working hosted Minecraft PE server... I'd love to get one by winning something! Thanks - GmWM
