Via my script at the top of this thread you don't need to be connected, don't need to use screen or anything like that. It's running as a background service

    -l means to enable DO_LOOP.
Please, DO_LOOP is a shell script-internal thing. PocketMine already allowed you to toggle it using -l, why need to modify the shell script?

Do loop.... What does it mean? Restart the server? Or after you stop the server it will start again.

Dang that's a good setup. I'm running Ubuntu server 14.04 LTS on mine. Isn't aws expensive. I had stop using aws for running a spigot server sence it was expensive.

You should explain what "forcefully" means. It actually detaches any sessions from that screen.

When I run service minecraftpe start I get the following error:

    /etc/init.d/minecraftpe: 2: .: Can't open /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions

I've looked in the init.d folder, rc.d doesn't exist but rc and rc.local and rcS do exist. So I changed line 2 to reference rc and rc.local - neither worked. Then I tried installing daemon (sudo apt-get install daemon), thinking that might work, installed fine but made no difference.

FYI I'm running Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS

    Any ideas?
