    Good news everyone!

    A few minutes ago, the PocketMine-MP rewrite was merged back to the master branch on Github.

    What does this mean?
    PocketMine-MP Is available for testing and development of plugins that use the new API. Also, it's open to contributions from the community via pull requests. As you can see on #1288, we still have a lot of things to do.

    Can I use old plugins?
    No. PocketMine-MP Alpha_1.4 uses a new API. It will allow you to do more things, faster, and a lot more stable. You can find the documentation (yes, now we have it!) in docs.pocketmine.net, although the newest docs will be here (these are generated automatically on each commit). A Tutorial is upcoming, but I didn't had a lot if time to work on it (I was doing things on PocketMine-MP!)

    Important changes
    • New API, more documented, with less weird behaviors
    • Entity physics
    • Infinite worlds (you won't be able to see them before 0.9.0)
    • Better usage of resources, more threading
    • New library for networking, RakLib
    • New class/namespace structure
    • And more things! (we still have to implement them!)
    What about MCPE 0.9.0?
    Once the betas are released, we'll update PocketMine-MP so it supports it and uses all its resources. You'll have to update (we recommend to check for new updates each day) PocketMine-MP, too

    OMG! SO MANY BUGS!
    PocketMine-MP Alpha_1.4 is still in a development stage, and there are lots of bugs (known and unknown). Bugs from previous versions don't affect 1.4 directly, since that code doesn't exist anymore, but they might or might not exist. If you find a bug (not something "not implemented"), tell us in the IRC chat before submitting it to the Issue tracker. Doing this decreases the amount of duplicated/known bugs in the tracker.

    I want it! NOW!
    The development version is available on Windows, Linux, and MacOS. Android and iOS will have to wait to the final release (anyways, who runs a development server that takes extra resources there?).

    • Windows: Get the latest binaries on https://sourceforge.net/projects/pocketmine/files/windows/dev/ (x86 supports XP)
    • Linux:

    • MacOS:

    For Linux and MacOS, grab the latest phar from jenkins.pocketmine.net place it on the pocketmine directory, and rename it to "PocketMine-MP.phar"

    If you want the newest phar files for official plugins , you can get them on jenkins.pocketmine.net

    Be sure to watch our repo to be alerted of new versions https://github.com/PocketMine/PocketMine-MP/

    FIRST! (I had to be that guy, because I've never been XP)

    Anyways, this is super exciting. I'm not exactly sure what to say about it here, since I've expressed all my excitement elsewhere, but I'm just really excited to see what happens from here, especially with some of the secret projects of yours ;) (Even though they're probably not secret, but I thought I'd just give you a bunch of people bugging you about secretive stuff ;P)

    BTW/ There is a weird bug that wents somthing wrong. in "server.properties" with (server-name) and (motd). When i start server the motd-tells me the server name and when i entering the game it shows me the (server name) not mptd. They swapped by their permissions!!!

    The server name is shown by default to TEST, and the description things has been removed. motd is now the name, but needs to be implemented

    I don't understand what will happen with server name then? If potd is the server name. Its stupid I think
