    A new PocketMine-MP Beta Build has been released!
    Alpha_1.4dev-707 beta11, for Minecraft: PE v0.9.5 alpha

    Will plugins break?
    The API version has been bumped to 1.6.0 (backwards-compatible) due to new features being added and bugs in the API being patched. If plugins have been developed properly, they won't break. New plugins that want to use new features must bump their API version to 1.6.0

    Should I use this Beta Build?
    There are three types of builds: stable, beta and development. A beta build is meant for test servers, and plugin developers that want a more stable environment. If you are running a production server, it's recommended to stay away from these builds. If you really want to use it, please test on a separate server before doing the changes on the server.

    Where can I submit bugs?
    Please do not submit features not implemented. They will implemented in future beta builds, and doesn't help the developers. If there is a true bug you found, please submit it on the Bug Tracker. Please search in it for duplicated bugs. Do not request help or plugin support there. Provide as much information as you can, and keep titles short and informative.

    • Added PlayerBucketEvent and children, improved Bucket usage and Liquid placing

    • Throw CRITICAL error message on unhandled Exception on plugin events instead of crashing
    • Throw CRITICAL error message on unhandled Exception on commands instead of crashing
    • Removed Generic block class
    • Deprecated Level->getSpawn() in favor of Level->getSpawnLocation()
    • Deprecated EntityMoveEvent

    This is turning out better than I thought it would. I actually notice a lot of things are being fixed that weren't even fixed in the old Pocketmine. Water and Lava even flow now! I'm even willing to bet that an official release of the new Pocketmine will even run far less laggy than the older versions.


    My wish list includes:

    Complete World Generation
    Fully Functional Mobs
    Fully Functional Carts and Arrows

    Actually Arrows are already done, or being worked on.

    When those are complete then I'll finally be able to put my server back online 24/7. I won't dare put up my server without mobs and world generation though.


    Edit: Pffft I really hope with my fingers crossed that Microsoft doesn't have any negative effect on Pocketmine development :S

    Tell me about it! I have been working on my new server locally by myself for now then I'm going to have a day or week of stress test! Hopefully me server can handle a website and pocketmine and all the SQL stuff running. XD

    For some reason, @Intyre's release posts are more interesting than @shoghicp's ones, although it's just the same format. Maybe because I like @Intyre! :D

    Arrows work, carts plan on being added soon, and better world generation and mob AIs won't be added in 1.4 due to the complexity of adding it, and they want to release a stable version of 1.4 as soon as possible. However, the mobs themselves should be added in, so you'll be able to spawn in all the mobs. They just won't move :p

    I just wish that someday they add the setblock or testfor command or something.

    /setblock ~ ~-1 ~ glass

    Or

    /testfor @e[entity=Player] {SelectedItemSlot:0}

    And when MCPE gets Redstone and command blocks, I could replicate a couple of plugins like the magic carpet plugin! In Vanilla MCPE and POCKETMINE!
