    Hello everyone!
    Sorry for the delay on making this post, but I waited until a few things were ready before writing it :)

    As most of you will know now, I was hired by Mojang to work on Minecraft: Pocket Edition. The same day the announcement was made, I got lots of questions from people asking about PocketMine and its future. Don't worry more, I'll still be working on it!

    PocketMine's ownership is still in my hands and the rest of the PocketMine Team, and everything will be same as before. I'll have less time to work on it, but that shouldn't matter for most of you. It's not affiliated with Mojang, even if I'm working there. As for the code, PocketMine was written from the scratch, not conflicting with Minecraft, and I'll maintain that in the future (New features will be implemented using new and different code!).

    This should reply all those questions that I got. You won't see a lot of activity on code commits right now, as I'm a bit busy moving to Stockholm and traveling around. Be sure to ask me anything on Twitter over @shoghicp if you have more questions, but I won't be telling you release dates as we don't even know them :p

    As I already told you more than 3 times... This is already done for MCPE 0.11, @shoghicp made it some weeks ago ;)

    Make sure you don't "carelessly" put some MCPE code into PocketMine :D

    I know some of you will instantly be telling me PocketMine is not when in C*, but with PocketMine so object-oriented today, I bet there is not much difference.

    Hi Shoghicp!!!! my name is Lucario! I have been editing some code in pocketmine.phar and I have realized that the player speed doesnt come from the code within pocketmine. it comes from the mcpe game. So, I have been wondering. Do I have to jailbreak my ipad? and then mod some code on within the mcpe game itself? I am extremly experianced with modding and you wont probaly see anyone like me out there with all around moddding experiace. and I know some codes like batch, cpp and little of php (but not enogh to make a plugin. and I do not know the phar extension oh php.) and lastly, does mcpe game on ipad run x code?

    2. You don't event know what you're doing... So let me help you:
    The speed of the player comes from the client itself, but PocketMine measure it, so people can't install "speed" mods to trick the servers, so I belbelievT hair will not work unless you modify the source for yourself and allow speed hacking

    Hi @shoghicp and congratulation again :)

    I'm happy to know you won't leave the project :)
    though, you won't have as much time as before.

    Can i suggest to you, that before to add new feature, to focus on this hang up issue (and other crash issues) ? This issue happened for me 3 times a day on each servers. This issue kill my uptime because the server never stop, then i can't restart it automatically.

    ModPE is just an API for single player modding. It is not in the TODO list for PocketMine.
