Hi everyone! PocketMine-MP is now 1 year old! (and a few days more). More than a year has passed since we released the first PocketMine-MP version, the Alpha_1.0. To celebrate this, we were going to open a contest before holidays, but due to several delays we couldn't do it then. So, from today until February 23th, the first PocketMine-MP Plugin Contest is open. What to do? Develop plugins. You have plenty of time, so create a good plugin. Please read the rules below. Once the submissions are closed, we will review them and publish the results later. Happy coding! P If you have any question about the rules, or if something can be done with PHP (of course!), you can ask on the IRC over #pocketmine. Participation Rules Anyone registered on the PocketMine Forums can participate, except me (@shoghicp ) and the Judges. Submitted plugins must follow all the rules. Submitted plugins require a minimum code quality. If we can't understand it easily, it will be rejected. All plugins must be new. No existing plugins will be allowed. The plugins must be submitted to the Plugin Repository and be correctly tagged (with the Contest tag). They must not be published until the contest ends. Plugins must be finished and no updates will be allowed after submitting it. They must be released as PHP plugins, not PMF plugins. Simple plugins will be refused, for example, single command plugins. The plugin must be able to run equally on Windows, Linux and Mac OS. Each author can submit up to 4 plugins. All submissions should be received before the 23 of February at 23:59 UTC+1. Big Prize Categories Prize: Winner plugins will get featured, and the winners will get a custom title in the forum and a free PocketServer.net server for 30 days. Besides this, each category has a special prize. Non-winning plugins will be listed on a Contest page archive. A submission can win multiple categories, if the judges decide that. Best Overall Plugin: The plugin that wins. The one that beats all of them. The favorite. Special prize: A t-shirt sent to your home, consideration to be part of the team. Best Coding: Best usage of the PHP language, the interface PocketMine-MP offers, its formatting and doing something useful with it. Special prize: Consideration to be part of the team. Best Idea: The most awesome, or our favorite idea, while doing something useful with it. Special prize: Suggest a future PocketMine-MP code name. Best Minigame: The most complete minigame. Special prize: Get the Team to play it Most Ridiculous: Be ashamed. This is the most awkward plugin we have ever seen. Special prize: Get your code with the judge comments.
